In the first Star Wars FPS game, players take on the role of Kyle Katarn, a defector from the Galactic Empire who becomes a mercenary. Katarn joins the Rebel Alliance's covert operations division tasked with infiltrating the Galactic Empire, where he uncovers the secret Dark Trooper Project. The development of this new powerful series of Imperial battle droids and heavily armoured stormtroopers will tighten the Empire's grip on the galaxy, unless Katarn and the Rebel Alliance intervene.
