Riordon's books are always funny, but this is one of his best. Apollo is hilariously funny as a narrator, and gives a view into the lift of a Greek gd that is by turns hilarious and tragic. For the first time, I found myself caring what happened to one of the gods instead of just the demi-gods in the story.
