I rather liked this 140 minute film, of this man's quest to find proof of an advanced civilization, while his faithful wife endured many years of having to raise their children alone. This film condensed his travels and adventures between 1906 to 1925 into a rather nicely packaged adventure film. He was portrayed as being more "open minded" to liberal than most of the current Englishmen of the time. This film was based upon David Grann's, 2009 book of the same name, which describes the events and findings in further detail. The Special Features goes on to say that they director was able to look at Percy Fawcett's personal ledgers, that was still in the granddaughter's possession. Good script (within the time that was allowed), good acting and interesting story. Actor Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy; Crimson Peak; Pacific Rim), played Percy Fawcett; Robert Pattinson (Twilight Saga series); and Sienna Miller gave fine supporting roles.
