Brando's magnetic stage presence is/was like none I've ever seen. He just pulls you in, and doesn't let go. An odd pairing between he and Magnani, but apparently they were intended for the roles when Tennessee wrote the play. Joanne Woodward was spot-on as the rebellious wildcat. What an ending -- caught me way off guard...
