It is a good movie. A great story, compellingly told.

A movie that keeps you on your toes and shows how cooperate executives can mess everything up. How you need to watch your back with these executives and the one should have had his nose broken with a decent punch to the face and jaw but it never did happen. How the executives will pat each other on the backs in their safe box seats and try to build their egos, reputations, and careers off the backs of others. How they really do not have a clue what goes on but know how to sweat talk the right people. Even when one individual is so much better than the others and when he gets conned in becoming a team player the executives manage to get their golden boy in who is less skilled. I was not disappointed in the movie but thought it was a little tame.

Brought this movie home for the husband but wound up really enjoying it too! Found myself googling all the true stories it's based on after. A fun ride!

If you like cars and car racing, then this is the movie for you. If not, then you might want to make better use of your time. The performances are good and it covers an interesting tid bit of history in American car culture. However, the movie is too long, and full of American exceptionalism. Certainly not Oscar worthy.
