Not every dragonet wants a destiny-- Clay has grown up under the mountain, chosen along with four other dragonets to fulfill a mysterious prophecy and end the war between the dragon tribes of Pyrrhia. He's not so sure about the prophecy part, but Clay can't imagine not living with the other dragonets; they're his best friends. So when one of the dragonets is threatened, all five spring into action. Together, they will choose freedom over fate, leave the mountain, and fulfill their destiny-- on their own terms.

Graphic novel?! at first, I liked the book, but after 5 months or so, I got bored, also, it's missing a lot of stuff like how tsunami dislocate her wing and man others. You should read the chapter books. P.S, The chapter books (only) are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ACTUALLY

I’m a huge wings of fire fan so when my library brought it in I snatched it right up!
I loved Mike’s art and the different expressions he was able to create on the characters. My favorite dragon by far is Starflight because he’s bookish and shy like me and I love the silver scales on the nightwings!
The graphic novel adaptation stayed accurate to the book which is another plus for me. I was able to finish it in one night so it’s not very long. It ended with a cliffhanger, (I just had to, sorry Kestrel!) so fingers crossed for a volume 2.

i am kind of disappointed with this book. while it was pretty cool to see all the dragons in comic book form,i like my own imagination better. i guess it wasn't as bad as it could have been, but i am not impressed. just keep it original.

It's kind of sad to see what you imagined when you read the chapter book go down the drain, but other than that, I loved it. I thought there would be more seats in Scarlet's arena though. Not what I expected for the Skywing palace.
