The condensed version was on the inside flap cover, Having read most of her work I knew what was going to happen.I did not enjoy the read as i already new where it was going.
She is such a prorific writer. She seems to get lost in trying to churn out so many books in a short time, No time to plan really good well thought out works. As so many people snap them up as soon as they are avaible how can one blame her for trying to satisfy the readership.

Like many of my generation I grew up on fairy tales. As an adult I still enjoy a good fairy tale and who better than Danielle Steel to deliver one. Camlile Lammenais grows up in the fairy tale surroundings of NAPA Valley with very loving parents. Then tragedy strikes and in true Cinderella fashion, complete with a stepmother and two nasty stepbrothers everything changes. Luckily there is a fairy godmother. Will there also be a a Prince charming? It is worth reading this novel to find out and if you loved fairy tales as a child you will love this book as a grownup.

I usually love her books. This one was slow going and okay. Just not as good as her others. I've read them all but this one was hard to get into.
