This cd is not like the past three cds, in that its not as loud. I had to listen to it twice to appreciate the entire cd. It is one of their best to date and I am glad they changed up their music. I don't know how they come up with the titles to some of their songs, but my favorite is Wilson. "I'll stop wearing black when they make a darker color."

Mania is the 7th studio recorded album by pop- punk band, Fall Out Boy. I find that while Fall Out Boy often uses different albums to convey different tones, sounds, and messages, this album has been one of the most unique to date. This album seems to add tones of EDM, and techno. Throughout this album, I think the messages are also quite different than what they are on the previous albums by Fall Out Boy. When looking back at older albums, most messages conveyed were about relationship, and heartbreak. Whereas many of the messages conveyed throughout the Mania album are about self- reflection, and friendships. I really enjoyed the new sound to this album, and also the meaningful lyrics. I would give this album a 3.5/5.

I was looking forward to new music for quite some time and mania really surprised me I love all the songs. The album is really catchy and all the songs are upbeat. I would recommend this to anyone who likes fall out boy or pop rock music. Fall out boy are very talented artists and this album proves it once again. I did not know what I would think off the album at first but by listening to it I loved so much it puts me in a good mood. I would rate this 5 out of 5 stars give it a listen I’m sure you will like this album.

Much more pop=inspired than their earlier punk-rock albums. While I prefer those, I do appreciate how the band is willing to evolve and change with the times. They incorporate a lot of different genres, and surprisingly mix most of them well. The auto-tuning used in later tracks did get a bit annoying, however. 4/5
