Disappointing. Only reason I finished it is that it was an easy read. Spends the whole book obsessing about the Hasidic Jewish community and in the end the climax has nothing to do with them. Could have been ant group of people. Add to it that it ends up there was no real crime (murder). Will not be eagerly looking for her other titles. I only looked her up as she is married to Michael Chabon.
