I enjoyed this book. It follows the model of the hard boiled private eye following the clues and working through the mystery. In this case his wise-cracking side-kick is a digital assistant. She steals the show.
With the help of friends and colleagues and with an unending injection of cash they pursue the villains - if only they knew who they actually were.
Set strongly in Vancouver and British Columbia the story visits many of the familiar sites within the city.
There are many twists and turns before the story is told. I hope there are more episodes of Chan and his adventures to come.
Thank you Vancouver Public Library for giving this Indie Book shelf space. It deserves to be there.
