Admittedly, I only listened to the first part of the audiobook version but am very much tempted to finish at this stage. I was expecting to learn hard facts about the industry and trends moving forward but instead there is very heavy focus on the author himself and some other individuals. It sounds like a self-celebration of Satya Nadella who is padding himself on the shoulder. Yes, he is very successful, and my review is not meant to sound envious. However, the late entry into the mobile market and the steady decline of workstation sales is something the author should cover more. Risks for the enterprise and the overall industry instead of the focus on Satya Nadella would be appreciated. The person may carry an elevated sense of self-importance which comes across arrogant in the first few chapters. Tell me more about the failures and the late entry into certain markets and not so much about your credentials. Is the author trying to defend himself while the ship is slowing? While Microsoft has contributed significantly to the industry and overall accessibility of computing, it is not as relevant these days as the author attempts to portray in this work.
