Hello! This is Koiwai Yotsuba, Yotsuba Koiwai...um, YOTSUBA! Yotsuba moved with Daddy to a new house from our old house waaaaaaay over there! And moving's fun 'cos people wave! (Ohhhh!!) And Yotsuba met these nice people next door and made friends to play with (one of 'em acted like one of those bad strangers Daddy told Yotsuba not to go with, but it was okay in the end). I hope we get to play a lot. And eat ice cream! And-and-and...oh yeah! You should come play with Yotsuba too!

Yotsuba&! is an awesome book because it's funny

I absolutely loved this book and the entire series! You spend the entire book laughing at the silly and sometimes crazy antics of this little 5-year-old green-haired Japanese girl. She tells the world like she sees it and does not censor things (like all children do). She gets into trouble (and paint). And she may use markers on things that aren't washable (like people's faces). This really is such a wonderful story. If you have a bad day, read this book. If you need to laugh a little, read this book. Just do it.

I Love Yotsuba. I've been reading these books 3 times now. From the first to thirteenth. I wish the next one came out soon. I am in 8th grade now and this book makes me laugh all the time I read it. I recommend this book because all age can read this.

Hello, this is Mai. I read this book and it was fun too. There were some of the part where it make me laugh. You should read all the volume.

This is a super sweet and super funny novel. About the adventures in the daily life of a 5 year old girl. Does a good job of portraying the general character of little kids

Ce livre est vraiment chouette! Tous les livres Yotsuba racontes les aventures dans la vie d'une petite fille. L'auteur a bien montre le character general de les enfants a sont age.

This earlier translation is more literal, hence more awkward, than the Yen Press volumes.

Funnier than the first volume.

A quirky preschooler discovers the everyday world in the company of her slacker father and a neighboring family of teenagers. A gentle introduction to manga style for new readers.
