The book teaches business owner that they need to focus on a few important areas and "stop doing" everything else. There are many books that assist with managing your time, creating lists, scheduling etc. But there are no books that address what business owners need to stop doing in orer to make more money and have more freedom. The book has 3 key sections: Mindset - knowledge without the right mindset will always fail. This section identifies the common mindsets of "doers" vs the essential mindsets of a "stop doer" Creating your Stop Doing List - This section helps the reader identify what they are doing, helps them categorise these tasks and finally helps them construct their first Stop Doing List. These exercises can be completed by the business owner as well as every member of the team How to Stop Doing - This section helps the reader now take their Stop Doing List and actually stop doing these tasks. It provides a systematic and practical way to ensure these tasks are either eliminated, automated or delegated and never end up on your "to do" list ever again. The book also addresses the common mindsets that lead to success and the common mindsets that lead to failure when implementing this methodology. Lastly, the book teaches the reader how to attract, train and retain people locally or oversees to delegate tasks to and support future business growth.
