A classic tale of good versus evil. The Little Spirit has a dream in which the Lord of the Dance, who represents all things good in the world, must fight against evil in the form of the Dark Lord and his army of Dark Disciples. Morrighan the Seductress comes between the Lord and his true love Saoirse, while Erin the Goddess puts into songs the words that the dances convey. Will the Lord of the Dance and his Chieftains defeat the Dark Lord and his men?

(Before writing my comment, I would like to emphasise that I respect all artists on the stage in this DVD. They all worked very hard.) This DVD is an an on-stage Tap Dance performance. Whether one will enjoy this DVD or not depends on his expectation. If one expected a group of Tap Dancers dancing on the stage with some visual computer graphics projected on the back of the stage, one might like this DVD. If one was used to watch classical ballet or modern ballet, he might not like this DVD. This DVD is not even close to Cirque du Soleil. The choreography in this DVD is not worth to be mentioned. To be fair to the choreographer, more than an hour of Tap Dance, his job was very difficult. I did try to see if the music or other things in this DVD could earn some marks. But, unfortunately, I couldn't.

What a piece of tripe. I was looking for some good dancing and, putting aside the ridiculous story and staging of this production, the camera work is so poor that they could be doing anything down there. It was like watching hockey from Boston Gardens: if you were any farther away, you'd be outside the building. MISS IT.
