Many more new and returning characters will be added to the diverse roster, offering a wide variety of fighting styles for players to choose from. New Strategies and Battle Mechanics: Highly accessible new battle mechanics, which revolve around the V-Gauge and EX Gauge, provide a new layer of strategy and depth to the franchise that all players can enjoy. V-Trigger: Unique abilities that use the entire V-Gauge, giving players the opportunity to inflict damage when activated. V-Skill: Utility skills (such as evasion) for each character that can be activated at any time. V-Reversal: Unique counterattacks that use one stock of the V-Gauge. Critical Arts: Ultimate attacks that use the entire EX Gauge. For the first time in franchise history, the online community is unified into a single player pool, allowing for even more rivalries to be born".

+ Very solid gameplay, much more fluid than SFIV
+ Cross-play multiplayer with PC
+ Roster is pretty varied, not a SFII repeat like SFIV; newcomers like Rashid and Laura are great
+ Good soundtrack, personally I find it much better than SFIV's, not as good as SFIII's though

- Anemic single player content, story mode can be completed in a couple hours and survival is tedious and cheap
- Matchmaking is broken, it takes forever to find a match and there are no real filtering options; no ping indicators is a disgrace
- Online is full of rage quitters since there are no penalties in place for leaving a match online
- F2P mechanics in a fully-priced retail game, it takes over 300 hours of grinding to be able to afford a DLC character; absolutely ridiculous
- Ken's face

Definitely worth a rental but I don't see myself buying this game in the future. Even if Capcom promises they'll add more single player content over time. There are much better offerings on the horizon despite the core gameplay being really tight. A shame.

No arcade mode, No story mode, No challenge mode, lack of a tutorial mode, infrequent support for fight-sticks and an always online mode.
All this coupled with the inability to maintain connection to online matches is a disgrace to the Street Fighter name.
