Not what I expected. Recipes are all vegetarian--well, not exactly, since some have butter. Even the Avgolemeno had no chicken, not even chicken stock/broth! I found nothing especially interesting, the recipes sounded extremely plain. For example, if you ever tried Azuki beans you know they taste very strong and earthy, so some tweaking is needed to make it more palatable. Not for the author: her Azuki Soup is plainer than plain!
