What can you do with a little red wagon? This traditionally illustrated picturebook features sweet and textured drawings, and is great for fostering cooperation and imagination.

A beautifully illustrated board book that follows the journey of a girl and her wagon. It has such nice pictures and a simple story that I don't mind reading it every night. It also has pictures of the wagon crashing, turning into a train and construction equipment, so my two year old wants to read it too.

Another great Renata Liwska picture book. The pictures elaborate so much on the very minimal text to create a whole different story than the simple text implies. I thought I would try the story out in a family storytime thinking that the older kids would get the joke implied in the inconsitency between the pictures and the text. Unfortunately Liwska's lovely illustrations are hard to convey to a storytime group so much of the story was lost. The story is best for individual (and family) use.
