One published review said: sly, quirky, funny, satirical. That's this book in a nutshell.
LOVED the narrator of the audiobook. Don't read the full reviews. They give away too much of the plot. Jump out the window with the 100 year old man and enjoy the surprises that follow !

Very entertaining and a good reminder that old age need not stop up us from having fun

We loved listening to this on our drive down to Florida. Many laughs, easy to follow plot yet intrigue and twists.

I enjoyed this. It has a lot of the ridiculous and far-fetched in it, but it is unexpected and the characters are likeable. I don't think it's like Forrest Gump, as some have said, because the protagonist seems quite sharp to me, even though he is apolitical and rather amoral.

Love, love, love this book. An apolitical hero involved in major political events of the last century. Wonderful read! Funny and full of unexpected turns.
