I've got to say that Reagan's "Re" running inner monologue had me in stiches. I don't know where Julie Anne Peters got it from but something tells me that there is likely a little bit of Ms. Peters in Reagan. My heart pulled at me so many times as Reagan told the story of her sister Luna. I know what Luna went through because I've been through it myself. I tried not to cry but at the end the tears just came out on their own. A mixture of relief, sadness and hope made the ending to emotional and to close to home to try to hold it in.

Absolutely beautiful, one of my favorites. I hold this in my heart. I cried at the end.

Beautiful. Real. Amazing. I cried SO SO hard at the end of this book because of its ending and because the book was over.

Great book. I learned a lot about transsexuality. Its a pretty quick read. Definitely worth it! Peters knows here stuff! I highly recommend this book.
I also recommend Beyond Magenta by Susan Kuklin. Interviews with real life trans teens. Also a very good book.

The title character of this book, Luna, is incredibly selfish and really unlikable. She is self-absorbed and never considers anyone else.

There are also a lot of other problems with the storytelling, such as that characters constantly contradict themselves for no reason, leaving the reader left without any sense of what the characters actually believe.

Also, Peters is clearly trying to break down gender stereotypes with this book and instead reinforces them stronger than ever.

This just scratches the surface. . .

I really liked this book because it gives you an idea about what transexuality is, I didn't really understand what transexuality was so it was a really interesting read.

I read this book in french, it's not bad at all. Pretty good actually. I found myself learning a lot about what I didn't know before regarding transsexuality. It put me in Luna's position. Although the book finishes without the actual ending, I still loved it and I am dying to know what really happens to Luna in the end.

One of the first books I've read that really made me take an interest in transexuality. Still one of my favorite books on the topic. My friend read it and said it was awful, so I can say I was happily surprised I enjoyed it. Couldn't have been any better if it tried! :)
