This book came out before Diana's death, so many of the revelations and scandal about Diana and Charles's marriage and Fergie and Andrew's marriage were still new and shocking. It's easy to read and lots of fun to indulge your taste for gossip. The book traces the House of Windsor from the time it assumed that name during the first World War, so there is rumor and scandal about all the royals from George V and Mary onward.

This was a great read. Gives you a detailed account of certain events. Lots and lots of information on ALL the royals. The good, the bad and the ugly. This book was written before Princes Di died. Watched the Crown on Netflix and wanted more information on the royal family. This was the book. It was not raunchy or nasty. Very well written.
