Three teenagers seeking refuge after their own horrific journey meet on a small, overloaded boat heading to England from France with other illegal migrants. Abdul has made a long, difficult journey from war-torn Baghdad where he lost his family in the Iraq war. Rosalina is a Roma teenager from Czech Republic who travels to Germany where she escapes from the white slave trade. Cheslav who lost his mom as she was bought as a mail order bride goes AWOL from a Russian military school. As the book unfolds you discover how hard each of the teenagers journey was just to get to this boat. Once on their way to England a fight ensues resulting in the boat stalling in the middle of the English Channel. Now these three must try and work as a team to get to their destination. No Safe Place is fast and furious, dealing with the harsh realities that still exist today. For readers who enjoy stories about world politics and “real life” teen stories.

I found the book was okay because I did enjoy some parts however some just made it awkward for me to read. I did like that the kids all came from different hard pasts and lost trust in others then had to regan it whichI thought was sweet. The main idea was inspiring and something we all should take to heart. I did very enjoy however that the book ended when they where all standing on Penny lane.

Good but was very slow at the beginning then told a story about each character which was the most interesting part.

The book "No Safe Place" is a great book, being able to express and explain the past lives of the illegal migrants, Abdul, Rosalia and Cheslav. I believe that this story was an amazing story about how fate (or destiny) can bring very different people together. I love how, besides, talking about the problems of going country to country, it also establishes the tension and distrust between the three. It's a heart warming tale about the hardships and friendships. If you haven't read this book yet, you should.

An adventure that is amazing with a plot that makes you want it to never end.
