I love the Dark Secret's cover, as the character, Rafael De La Cruz appears to be a beach "bum"... but in truth, he is a Carpathian hunter...one I'd never would want to run into anywhere, especially, in the dark.
Dark Hunger is the first Manga I've read--though I'm not a fan of comics, comic books, graphic novels, or Manga--after I read it in novella form. I did enjoy the way the art form enhanced the story which I wished had been longer, which I greatly enjoyed. As for me--if they were real--I'd want to stay as far away from the infamous De La Cruz brothers as I could. Dark Hunger was written in novella form, and published in Darkest at Dawn, but I don't know if Darkest at Dawn is still in print.
Great book. captivationg. Makes me hunger for more. christine feehan has an invigurating, fasinating gift of weaving fantastic stories. Makes you feel like you are there part of the great family of Carpathians. There is so much love and caring between all of them no matter what the distance. Sensual, exciting and great twists you just don't expect. The books just keep getting better and better
I could not zoom the e-book in the
Adobe Digital Editions, when checked the info it was mentioned:
"The document appears to have minor errors that might cause it to be displayed incorrectly"
Great book!! Romance with a twist.
Until I opened the book and read the titles of the two novels inside I thought it was a new book. Dark Secret, Dark Hunger came out earlier. Darkest at Dawn is not a new book.
If you have already read the book "Dark Secret" and the novella "Dark Hunger" that appears in the book "Hot Blooded", then this book is a waste of your time. It is just a reprint of these to books that came out in 2004 and 2005.
