A hands-on guide that gives you the basics on breaking into the commodities market. Learn to diversity your portfolio, measure risk, and apply market analysis techniques.
Its awkward to rate this book because the it shortcomings are supposed to be of the sort that this type of book should have. But other shortcomings are not:
Its entirely focussed on the American market, totally ignoring all other major exchanges that have a lot of commodities.
It keeps exhorting one to do research, but doesn't say much about how to go about it, that is, where to find reliable information.
It totally ignores the stock promotions ("investor relations") sub-industry.
It makes explicit references to particular companies, and not just for illustrative purposes to help explain something.
