Good one quarter of a book, which can be pleasantly skimmed with that in mind. Unfortunately the author did not take his own good advice -- figure how long you have to act, and then wait as long as you can. The author is a very accomplished person, who I suspect would have avoided much of the banality and triteness, if he had contemplated the editting for another ten years. Cheers

good read, especially if you get an audio version, will leave you with few useful insights on delaying decision or an action.

If you read nothing else in this book, read Chapter 7 : Don't Panic. The best chapter in the book. It explains the difference between Panicking and Choking. Remembering the difference and reacting to that saved my job. I am forever grateful to the author for this timely information. Read the rest of the book, too!

Interesting exploration of decision making and how to think about what is an appropriate delay for each type of decision.
