It might be true that i only read this because of the musical Hamilton, but i was surprisingly pleased! it was interesting to learn about different thoughts on government and society, and honestly i just love the way Paine writes. I love learning new vocabulary and facts about our history threw this book-it gives great insight on the topics. Many I think wouldn't understand, but this is true- im only 13, but my mind is older. ;-)

Very pleased with this edition of 'Common Sense." The book is a direct transcription of the Bradford Edition of the book, published on 2-14-1776. All the mistakes are there, as well as Paine's use of caps and italics. In other words, Paine's enthusiasm oozes onto the pages. The first edition, published by R.Bell, and the second edition, were published one month before. The Bradford edition includes the appendix and is the edition usually assigned by most teachers.
