This is a 1998 84-minute documentary about the His Majesty's Jewish Brigade---the only all-Jewish fighting unit in the World War II.
The Jewish soldiers went into combat againt the Nazis and came away victorious.
After the war, the young Jewish soldiers masterminded one clandestine operation to form secret vengeance squads and assassinated Nazi officers in hiding.
They also engineered the rescue and illegal movement of Holocaust survivors to Palestine.
Later, in 1948, the brigade veterans helped organize and led the fledgling Israel Defense Forces in their new country.
The film unravels the thrilling tale of Jewish soldiers who carried the weight of a people on their shoulders.
