This is a 2001 34-minute documentary about cultural messages that affect girls and women.
Some cosmetics company and fashion industry as well as male-magazine editors send messages through media that definitely influence the minds of
young girls so that they modify their eating habits and accordingly some of those girls get into eating disorders.
Some male magazines define a desirable female as a weak, thin and soft woman, and enthusiastic male-magazine readers tend to go for violence
against women as a favorable trend.
How do you cope with this kind of problems?
Some leading authorities in the fields of psychology and gender studies will give you practical solutions.
It is an interesting and thought-provoking documentary.
