Richard Knox has served his time, so why can't he live wherever he wants? Yes, he was a violent rapist, but he's seen the error of his ways. Found God. Wants to make a new start. Or so he says. DS Logan McRae isn't thrilled to be helping Knox settle into his new Aberdeen home. He's even less thrilled to be stuck with DSI Danby from Northumbria Police – the man who put Knox behind bars – supposedly here to 'keep an eye on things'. And things are about to go very, very wrong.

Sixth book in a series for DS Logan McRae. Character development is excellent, however this book did not have the same level of dark humour that the previous books did. Author is still doing a bang up job. Not the best one but still worth reading.
