Add a CommentReleased in July 1970 - "Cosmo's Factory" would be the fifth studio album by American rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR).
With the release of "Cosmo's Factory" - Creedence Clearwater Revival hit their commercial zenith. It was their fifth album in two years and this record became an international smash, topping the album charts in six countries.
Perhaps more than any other CCR album - "Cosmo's Factory" displayed a wide range of musical genres that helped to provide the foundation for the band's "swamp rock" sound, including - R&B, soul, country, rockabilly and, of course, a bit of psychedelia thrown into the mix for good measure.
