"Word gets around fast in Eclipse Bay. Nick Harte should know, his family's legendary feud with the Madisons fueled the local gossip mill for years before finally cooling off. But people are still talking and rumor has it Nick's involved with someone new. Art gallery owner Octavia Brightwell doesn't take chances, especially on handsome, charming men. But that's only part of the reason why she turned Nick down six times before, finally, agreeing to a date. Octavia's related to the woman who sparked the long-time family feud and fears that falling hard for Nick would only ignite the flames again. Octavia knows her family's past is best kept hidden. But her secret isn't safe in Eclipse Bay and neither is her heart"--Container.

I liked this fictional Story CD. It is too sexual for kids. There is too much violence for kids too. It is part of the Eclipse Bay series. Beautiful Octavia Brightwell has turned down handsome widower Nick Harte's invitations six times! In the third of the "Eclipse Bay" trilogy, the romance between Nick and Octavia begins with a series of misunderstandings, of course, mostly the result of rumors and gossip. The Harte-Madison feud seems to be cooling off, but there are still long memories and deep resentments in town. It turns out that Octavia is related to the woman who started the feud many years ago. The permanent residents are delightful (Nick's five-year-old son, Carson, and the lovable loonies in the Incandescent Bakery) and exasperating (the ladies in the beauty shop and the guys in the beer joint); they all have loudly voiced opinions about everything, including the blossoming romance and the theft of a valuable painting from Octavia's art gallery.
