this is a series that is of it's time and well done for it's time. Costume, directing, and it is great to see actor's work that are no longer with us. Enjoy a different time

Too old and dated.

It's nice that an adaptation of Taylor Caldwell's epic exists, but the filmmakers make some changes that were not only unwelcome, but corny as all get-out.

Read the book YEARS ago. Probably filmed in the 60's - corny music - loved it! Sweeping story of the founding of a dynasty, money, corruption, shadow government - no foul language or soft porn - just an old fashioned movie movie.

I expected this to be much better. Very poor production, predictable storyline and bad acting. When I got to a really (unexpected) gruesome part I stopped watching - just not worth it.
