A very good book collecting a bunch of stories that shows an important event in Tony Stark (AKA Iron Man)'s life. First released back in the eighties; this was the halcyon days of Marvel comics when then polarizing figure and editor in chief Jim Shooter was at the helm. Almost all the titles at the company were doing very well back then and Iron Man was no exception. Although it deals with the somber issue of alcaholism, it's still has lots of action and drama (and don't forget some humor) to make this an enjoyable read. My only complaint (and it's a small one) is John Romita Jr.'s neophyte artwork. Luckily he has Bob Layton's inks to finish his pencils.

Violence: Well, being a Marvel book, there's lots of fighting, but not as intense as X-men or Daredevil that came out at the same time.
