Join us for a chill and cozy Silent Book Club just for teens! Whether you're deep into a fantasy epic, graphic novel, or the latest YA bestseller, bring your current read and hang out with fellow book lovers for an afternoon of reading and snacking. No assigned reading. No pressure. Just books, snacks, and good vibes.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Quiet reading time with your book of choice
  • A chance to share book recommendations (only if you want to!)
  • Snacks!
  • A laid-back space to connect with other teens who love reading 
  • Bring a book—or borrow one when you get here!

Accessibility Information

Teen Services is working to make our programs accessible to all Vancouver teens. If you have an access need that we have not addressed here, please email us at teens@vpl.ca.

  • The program takes place in an open space of the library. 
  • Participants are welcome to move, stim, or take breaks as needed. 
  • Background music may be played at a low volume. 
  • Sensory Kits with fidget toys and ear defenders are available.
