Briar Boleyn: The Wings That Bind

7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Central Library

Description

New York Times bestselling author Briar Boleyn is coming to the Vancouver Public Library for a night of dragons, vampires, romance and more! For her first Canadian tour-stop Briar will be joined by some special guests for a fan-forward event where we'll get into her books, her fandom history, and test her knowledge on all kinds of spiky creatures.

The Wings That Bind is the third installment in the viral Bloodwing Academy series--dark academia romantasy that delivers seductive vampires, high-stakes adventure, and dangerous romance.

Briar will be joined by her friends and fellow authors Emberly Ash and Demi Winters.

This event will feature an interview with Briar, a fan Q&A and a book-signing with books sold by our friends at Black Bond Books.

-------

Briar Boleyn is the New York Times, Sunday Times, and USA Today bestselling fantasy romance author of the Bloodwing Academy and the Blood of a Fae series. A former grad student and teacher turned fantasy romance author, she once wrote award-winning scholarly papers on Dumbledore and Arthurian legends before realizing she could write stories of her own with significantly more kissing. Briar lives in the middle of Canada with her husband and their two demon-angel hybrid children. She enjoys playing RPGs, visiting red pandas at the zoo (hello, Neville), and obsessing over Disney World.

Emberly Ash stole her first romance novel off her mom's bookshelf at the age of ten and never looked back. The author of 12 romance books under her first pen name, Emberly craved something darker and steamier--enter the world of fantasy romance. Her books are dark, twisty, and not for the faint of heart. In the real world, she manages a fire-breathing four-year-old and a grumpy mage of a husband. But you'll most often find her in her hot-pink writing cave, dreaming up your next book boyfriend. Spoiler alert: he's fae.

Lover of all things fairy tales, fantasy, and romance, Demi Winters lives in British Columbia, Canada with her husband and two kids. When she’s not busy brainstorming fantastical worlds and morally gray love interests, Demi loves reading and cooking.
