Events › Holiday Slides: A Trombone Concert

Sleigh bells are ringing, and the trombones are sliding right in!

This December, warm up to the sound of a large trombone choir in the Promenade of the Central Library as they play some of your favourite holiday tunes. 

Come experience a gathering of trombonists from the Vancouver Symphony, Vancouver Opera, UBC, and beyond, who will fill the space with music and holiday cheer. Help us ring in the holiday season with this unique event!

Registration is NOT required to attend, but it helps us anticipate attendance and better prepare to host you.

• The event is on the ground level, with accessible entrances on both sides of the building.
• The Promenade / Atrium is an open indoor area, that may be busy during the performance.
• Participants are welcome to move, take breaks, or leave the space as needed.
• There will be a limited number of chairs, and we will reserve some for people with mobility needs. There will also be spaces for wheelchairs and mobility devices.
