Set in a Jewish sleepover camp in the summer of 2013, Aaron Kreuter’s new novel, Lake Burntshore, is a social satire, romance, and political commentary that explores issues of belonging and colonialism.

Aaron Kreuter is the author of six books, including the poetry collection Shifting Baseline Syndrome, a 2022 finalist for the Governor General’s Literary Award, and the short story collection Rubble Children. His work has been shortlisted for two Vine Awards for Jewish Literature, a Raymond Souster Award, and a ReLit Award. Aaron's award-winning academic work explores contemporary Jewish fiction, Israel/Palestine, settler colonialism, and diaspora. He lives in Toronto and teaches literature and creative writing at Trent University.
Jen Sookfong Lee was born and raised in Vancouver’s East Side, and she now lives with her son in North Burnaby. Her books include Superfan, named a Best Book of 2023 by the Globe and Mail and Apple Books; The The Conjoined, nominated for International Dublin Literary Award and a finalist for the Ethel Wilson Fiction Prize. Jen acquires and edits books for ECW Press.
