From a humble fishing village to a bustling international city, Hong Kong has long captured the world's attention. What was trendy in the 1950s and 1960s? What games did children play? What were the living conditions and street scene like? And what exactly is the "Lion Rock Spirit"?

In her book Hong Kong Seen Through the Eyes of a Child, author Wahying Chan vividly recalls her childhood memories with heartfelt sincerity. Through a rich collection of old photographs, she will share stories of a bygone era. Join us for an interactive session filled with songs, riddles, and warm memories of old Hong Kong. The event will be moderated by Dr. Laifong Leung, Emerita Professor of University of Alberta.

在《童眼舊香江》一書中，作者陳華英以童年的視角，真摯細膩地描繪了那個時代的生活面貌。講座將透過豐富的老照片，重溫舊日香港風情。現場還有猜謎、唱歌等互動環節，帶領大家一同回憶那段溫馨動人的歲月。主持為阿爾伯塔大學榮休教授梁麗芳博士。
