Critically-acclaimed cartoonist Guy Delisle has published an illustrated biography about Eadweard Muydbridge, the photography pioneer who invented time-lapse photography and made pictures move. Delisle shines a light on the struggles and triumphs of one of the most influential artists and inventors of the modern era.

Guy Delisle is a cartoonist and animator best known for his travelogues about life in faraway countries, Burma Chronicles, Jerusalem, Pyongyang, and Shenzhen. In 2012, Guy Delisle was awarded the Prize for Best Album for the French edition of Jerusalem at the Angoulême International Comics Festival.
Dorothy Woodend is the culture editor for The Tyee, and a renowned arts and culture critic. Her writing has received numerous awards, including the Max Wyman Award for Critical Writing in 2020, as well as Silver Medal for Best Column at the Digital Publishing Awards in 2019 and 2020. Dorothy is a member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association and the Vancouver Film Critics Circle.
