Join us for a special edition of the Vancouver Latin American Cultural Centre's monthly reading group in honour of Black History Month.

This program will feature an engaging discussion led by Professor Ramón Ant. Victoriano-Martínez (Arturo), exploring Afro-Latin themes in the stories “Resins by Aurelia” and "Oso Blanco" by the Puerto Rican author Mayra Santos-Febres.

The stories are in English translations and the discussion will also be led in English. No background in or experience with Latin American literature or culture is needed. Everyone’s welcome!
