Craig Bowlsby won the 2024 Crime Writers of Canada Award of Excellence for his unpublished crime novel, Requiem for a Lotus. Craig also won the 2023 CWC award for Best Crime Short Story for The Girl Who Was Only Three Quarters Dead, published by Mystery Magazine in 2022.

Erik D'Souza is a Port Moody author and publisher of the Suzanne Rickson Mystery Series which includes
Death in Half Moon Bay and Death on the Rocks. Erik is the Marketing and Communication Manager for Crime Writers of Canada and President of the Tri-City Wordsmiths. In addition, he hosts the popular reading series, Writers in our Midst at the Port Moody Public Library.

Charlotte Morganti has been a burger flipper, a beer slinger, and a corporate finance/mining lawyer. Her novels and short stories range from gritty investigations to lighter capers. She usually sets her stories in small towns that miraculously harbour both villains and the sleuths who pursue them. Charlotte is a member of Crime Writers of Canada, Sisters in Crime, and the Sunshine Coast Writers and Editors Society. She and her husband live in a small town on the Sunshine Coast, where it’s mostly sunny, except when it’s raining.

Joanna Vander Vlugt’s thriller novels are inspired by 23 years combined experience working in the prosecutor’s office, and the Office of the Police Complaint Commissioner. Her short mysteries have been published in Crime Writers of Canada and Sisters in Crime mystery anthologies. As an illustrator, Joanna’s Woman Empowered motorcycle illustrations have been purchased worldwide.

Daniel Kalla is an internationally bestselling author of many novels, including Fit to Die, The Darkness in the Light, Lost Immunity, The Last High, and We All Fall Down. Kalla practices emergency medicine in Vancouver, British Columbia.
