Indigenous Storyteller in Residence Finale

6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Central Library

Description

This is a celebration of Joseph Kakwinokanasum and his wonderful time as 2024 Indigenous Storyteller in Residence. Joseph and friends will share funny stories from their lives - be prepared to laugh!

Have you ever wanted to hear a completely unscripted discussion with no agenda or structure between writers? To listen in on a less than serious conversation of a day in the life of an artist? This finale event hosted by Joseph Kakwinokanasum promises to be an entertaining night with writers Denise Ryan, J.J. Lee and Junie Désil sharing humorous stories to offset the often too seriousness of life as a writer. At the end of the event, the guests will choose a title for the event inspired by the preceding discussion.
