How to Read Music

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Description

Do you have a score to settle? Whether you’re just starting on your musical journey or simply want to brush up your former glory, How to Read Music is a lighthearted survival guide that will demystify the process of learning to read music.

You’ll have opportunities to practice as you go and you’ll develop practical strategies for long-term learning. You’ll also be provided with a PDF “cheat sheet,” not only to remind you of the key points of the presentation but also to inspire and guide your future musical adventures.

About the Instructor

Author of the Singer’s Guide to Reading Music series, Tegan Peemoeller has taught music literacy courses both in Canada and internationally. She has a master’s degree in harp performance, and in addition to her music literacy classes she teaches choral skills and harp privately.
