We're back! Join us once again for the Canine Library 2022 version.

Come to John Hendry Trout Lake Park (field south of the playground, near the concession) and sign up to borrow a dog from the Canine Library in this Poetry in Parks initiative (VPL, Vancouver Park Board and St. John Ambulance).

Check them out using their bark-code and read your dog some poetry during your 15 minute session. Poetry books for you to choose from will be available from our collection. There will also be an on site poetry workshop with Vancouver Public Library's Poet Laureate, Fiona Tinwei Lam. VPL's new BiblioBike (e-bike) will be at the event signing people up for library cards.

Presented in partnership by Vancouver Public Library, Vancouver Park Board, Paws 4 Stories and St. John Ambulance BC/Yukon.

*Register in person at the park only! Please note kids 14 & under must be accompanied by an adult.

This event will take place rain or shine because it is Vancouver after all.

The pup lineup will be announced as soon as they calm down from all of the excitement.
