Description

Play, dance and experience music together in a whole new way! Little ones and their caregivers are invited to move freely in the space as they enjoy a non-traditional musical performance. This unique free concert features two special guest musicians. For ages 0-5.

World wide acclaimed musicians, British cellist Steven Isserlis and Canadian pianist Connie Shih will be performing to delight our youngest music enthusiasts.

Steven Isserlis has appeared with the world's leading orchestras and conductors, including the Leipzig, Berlin, Vienna, London and Los Angeles Philharmonic orchestras. He is also the author of the children's book: Why Beethoven Threw the Stew.

Connie Shih is considered one of Canada's most outstanding artists. As a child, she was awarded the Sylva Gelber Award for the most outstanding classical artist under age 30 and at the age of nine, she made her orchestra debut.  As a soloist, she has appeared extensively with orchestras throughout Canada, the U.S.A. and Europe.
