Curiosities of the Natural World: Escalator to Extinction

Description

On opposite sides of the globe, resident killer whales and rare tropical birds are being pushed out of their natural habitats by human impact and climate change. Join UBC researchers, Ben Freeman and Cheryl-lee Madden, as they discuss the challenges faced by these species in a rapidly changing world. They will also outline the work that conservationists doing to keep these species from riding the “Escalator to Extinction.”
