summer 2012
Annotation:Fascinating true story that reads like fiction. Eddie Chapman was quite a character, who basically did what he wanted. John Lee's narration does not disappoint.
Annotation:This is a very nice collection of sock patterns by a diverse group of designers. The bonus DVD makes it easy to see how some of the techniques are executed. Now which socks to make first!
Annotation:I started with the third book in the series about Cree Black, a paranormal empath and altho some of the reviews were not that great, i enjoyed it enough to go back to read books one and two.
Annotation:I was drawn to the premise of this book about a woman learning to overcome a debilitating traumatic brain injury, but i found i could not relate to the protagonist.
Annotation:Interesting book by a great author. I learned some of the history of Haiti through this book. Very strong female protagonist.
Annotation:Nice premise for a book, but i felt it somewhat lacking and predictable.
