I love this book! It is a little like the Redwall storys. I would recomend it to those who like animals and fantisy, but you need to be a fairly good reader. I realy enjoyed all the rabbits, because I have two as pets.

What a beautiful, wonderful story. Yes, it's just about rabbits moving from one field to another, but this book is so hard to put down. The characters tug at your little heart strings and sneak into your dreams, and you'd be surprised how easy it is to tell them all apart once you know them. They're brave, clever, and have as much potential as people to be great heroes. This is definitely a new favorite!

This book is a classic and for good reason. Although the characters are rabbits and inherently different from human beings in their manners and ways, Adams creates a rich story that is engaging and absorbing. The ending is perhaps one of the best I've read as there is a great reluctance to depart from the world of these rabbits whom I've grown fond of.

This is a great book but it is a novel and took me a very long time to read. Recommended to young adults!

This book was amazing! My dad suggested it to me one day, and it was wonderful. I couldn't put it down, I loved Mr. Bigwig, and all the characters. An awesome read.

This is a book about rabbits, and it is amazing. I got my copy used, and it has been read many times. In the story of Watership Down, a perfect mythology has been created, and you will never see a wild bunny the same way again. I think the only way I could have enjoyed this book more was if I knew ahead of time that nobody died. Be safe in that knowledge, and fully relax into the unbelievable pleasure of running across a sunny field with rabbits and Frith.

the best book I have ever read!! but the first part was a struggle for me -I almost gave it up- but it was well worth it because it was the most uplifting exciting story I have ever come across in my life (hated the movie though!)

This book presents such an intricate, but fascinating plot. Richard Adams described the adventure so well that I actually felt I was traveling with the rabbits. After I read this novel, I never viewed rabbits the same way. I got a little confused at certain moments, but overall it's a great read!
