Summaries
Add a SummaryIn Spells, we are once again introduced to Laurel, her family, her friend Chelsea, her boyfriend David, her other "friend" Tamani; who is a fairy! In Wings, Laurel slowly realized she was a fairy and by Spells, she has accepted this and is trying to cope with it and lead a normal life. Of course nothing can go as planned because she has Trolls hunting her down, wanting crucial information from her. I don't want to give away the whole plot but I loved this book. This book revolves more about Laurel going to Avalon and spending time getting to learn about her heritige (being a fairy). I truly adore this series. I am so torn between David and Tamani. She loves David and to her is sixeen and feels like a human, she's also a fairy and drawn to Tamani. I have no doubt of Tam's love for Laurel or David's for that matter, I do feel that she loves David more and though she loves Avalon does she want to return there full time? all she's ever know is the human world. The cliffhanger on the last page of Spells makes you just sit there and say, what what what? What is going to happen next??? Can't wait for the next book.
Quotes
Add a Quote"it'll take months, Tamani, This is a huge endeavor you're undertaking" - I know Tamani replied. You ready for this? Shar asked? "Yeah," Tamani said, a grin spreading across his face. " Oh, Yeah."

Add a CommentExcellent series.
A very good second book. Liked seeing more of Avalon. I have never been a fan of the cast system, so am in agreement with Laurel that it needs to change. Hopefully the next two books will see the end of it.
Once you get through the first few pages, you're enveloped in the words, as Laurel struggles to be integrated inot Avalon society, and learns that she may play a larger roll in the impending battle than she may have thought
this is the best book ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! aprilynne pike is an awsome writer but why david i mean he is cool but why. i would choose tamani boo david
why did laurel choose david sure he's nice and he likes her.... but.... Tamani!he has been with her for nearly all of his and her life!!! and he is a faerie !!!!! humans and faeries don't match!!!! and is there a movie of wings cause i've heard that there is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this book wasn't as good as the first book but i loved it all the same. It was kinda of boring in the middle but it picked up quickly. By the end of the book you find out more things about the fairies and about Laurel and Tamani than you wouid of if you stopped reading it. I will definitely read the third book because this series is addiciting even with some boring parts that make you want to stop you just want to keep reading and reading it until it's finished! It;s different from any story i have ever read before. Great story! :)
The book was very well written. I was so upset that she chose David! Ugg, I mean come on! Can't wait for the next book!
laurel and david and tam...she grows a blossom out of her back becuz shes a fairy...love triangle
Better than the first book.
OMG!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHH I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!! <333333 it really pisses me off that she didnt choose Tamani! i mean I am in LOVE with this boy he is the perfect guy but this girl is sooo blind and cant see that in him but goes for the retard david. i dont like david. at all. he has made her feel uncomfortable about so much but tamani is sooo held back about his love and he tries his best to make laurel happy. i just wish she could realise tamani is the one for her. :/
