Add a Commentasdfghjkl VampiGrl you just spoiled Malec! I haven't finished readingg! D: Nooo! I love Malec, how could they splitt!
I know that the whole Malec split up is a little sad. But Magnus is really old and can't be expected to tell the man he loves every little hookup he's had in that time. However I do think he should tell Alec at least about Will I mean it's not like Magnus and him had sex.
I was worried I wouldn't like these books because I'm not a big demon fan, but I fell in love with the characters. Just finished book 5 last night, LOVED them all! Very close call to Twighlight series I think!! I'm so excited for the next book, but in the meantime I'll be reading The Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare. Probably will wait for Mortal Instruments movies to come out on DVD, usually once you've read the book, a movie is always a disappointment! This series is a VERY good read, you just can't put it down, or stop thinking about the characters! :) For some reason I can't give stars, but I give 4 stars, the whole Clary and Jace thing is getting just a little bit old, and it would be nice to have a little more romance!!!
The book was very good. I agree with other readers that the love stories took center stage, but at least Clary and Jace weren't the only ones in the spotlight! I'm excited to read the next book!
I am in Love with City of Souls!!!! <3
The fifth novel in the series, this book is definitely an entry where everything has expanded. There are several more character perspectives included and far more relationships to explore and Clare deftly juggles all of them while also building an ultimate conflict that suddenly dashes through the last hundred pages. A satisfying entry in the series for readers with some loose plot ends that should lead to a very dramatic concluding novel.
I love Simon and Isabelle and Jordan with Maya but Clary is a little too selfish and annoying in this book
Not that good. It turned too romantic; there is not a lot of action, and to be honest I'm very disappointed. Romance in novels is common, but the author took it too far and it slowly began to become the center of the novel--the love between Jace and Clary. This wasn't what I wanted; I wanted to step into their world of Shadowhunters, visualize and "See" their struggles in a society where the Clave laws were rigid. The author has gotten too far; its turned into another twilight.
I am dying to read this book!!! Sixth on hold. I HAVE to know what happens with Magnus and Alec!!!
OMG!!!!! THIS IS A GREAT BOOK!!!! Although i admit, it's not as good as City of Glass and City of Fallen Angels, but it's pretty good. I recommend that u should read this. Holy cows, i can't wait for City of Heavenly Fire!!!!!! :D
