Emily is soon escorted to the Academy where she's expected to compete for a spot on the Guardian Council, a group of the the most powerful Stonekeepers. But as the number of competitors gets smaller and smaller, a terrible secret is slowly uncovered--a secret that, if left buried, means certain destruction of everything Emily fights for.

Add a CommentI love the Amulet books I am on book 4
LOL I love that i got position 189 when i first put this on hold XD
I find that this was the worst book in the series. I very much dislike the ending because its just so mean and cruel to the reader. Books are suposed to have happy or ones that leave you wondering. This was just awful :(
i read this book at chapters, it's good but i think it coulda been better. And anyone know when book #5 is gonna b out?
I hope there is a number 5. Love the series!!!!! :-P
I can't stop reading this book
AWESOME BOOK BEST BOOK IN THE AMULET SERIES YET
I haven't read it, but i know it's going to be good!
Emily has finally arrived at the hidden city of Cielis, but instead of a haven and answers, she finds a city shrouded in fear and suspicion. Meanwhile, another stonekeeper is revealed, one that finally might be of help to Emily, Navin and their friends. This volume is far more Emily centred than others in this series, as she faces the challenges of the Guardian Council. The rest of fan favourites are spear carriers and because of this, this volume may be less appealing to the male readers. Hopefully this will be cured in the next volume, because Kibuishi has done some amazing world building here and it is worth reading.
Very good book i hope you read the series.
